I was walking in Oakland one day, months ago, and happened to notice that one of the old historical buildings had a new sign. Actually, it was more like a banner, which was very intriguing. It said “Bigelow Conference and Reception Center.” Now I knew this was not there before, so of course I had to check it out. Well I have kept in touch via email with Nilda and had not ever gotten a chance to check out the space. I received an email from her saying that there were still a few tables available at the bridal show that would be taking place on Feb. 19th. As soon as I read it, I knew I should jump on this opportunity. I emailed her back asking to set up an appointment to look at the space and discuss the show. And that was that! For anyone who wants to purchase tickets, they are $10 and can be purchased online here. You’ll see me, smiling face, doing what I love to do. The bonus is that this show is not as large as the ones at the Marriott or Convention Center, so it is less likely that brides will get lost. I admit, I have gotten lost in one before. Oh and if you need tips on how to navigate one of these, see my previous post, All Under One Roof.
