Tuesday Shoesday, Edition 31

January 31st, 2012

Who doesn’t recognize the red soles anytime you see them? Loving these gorgeous Christian Louboutin pumps. The kicker is that they also come in green :)

Tuesday Shoesday, Edition 30

January 25th, 2012

Oops… Yeah, I know…

I remember thinking that when I got a “big girl” job, I would buy myself a pair of Jimmy Choo’s. Even though I have had a number of big girl jobs by now, I still have yet to purchase a pair. The Quinze Suede and Mesh Sandal just might need to be my first. Swoon…

Friday Finds 1.20.12

January 20th, 2012

I saw one of these on a TV show once and thought they were awesome. So I took to Etsy. One of my favorite places to find cute items that I might not see anywhere else and sure enough, there they were. I just LOVE these Monogram necklaces *Hint, Hint, Joey!* This one is by Monogram Art MGA.

Tuesday Shoesday, Edition 29

January 17th, 2012

I had to share these incredibly adorable Valentino pumps that one of the 2012 Mansion brides sent to me. I know we both fell in love at first site. While they are a little pricey, they very well might we worth the splurge…

Real Wedding: Jen & Jordan 10.8.11

January 16th, 2012

Jen and Jordan were married on a gorgeous October afternoon. It was really a beautiful day. Their ceremony decorations were simple and whimsical. Their reception decor was awesome. And the people at the reception? Well, let’s just say they were a blast! Don’t believe me? Just check out the video.

*Disclaimer: I am a wedding planner, not a photographer. Don’t hate because I have some fuzzy shots. I’ll get better. I promise. Especially after Jen McKen gives me lessons! Don’t worry, I’ll document that process. It’s coming in a blog near you. That should be entertaining…*

Friday Finds 1.13.12

January 13th, 2012

Since it is Friday the 13th, I felt it was a good day to post this variation of the wedding guest book. Being that it is a calendar and all…

Girly Wedding showed this alternative to the “normal” guest books, not that anyone really uses normal ones anymore. What a great way to keep track of all your friend’s and family’s birthdays! Now all you need to do is find a bulk deal on birthday cards and you will really wow them.

Tuesday Shoesday, Edition 28

January 10th, 2012

Today’s shoes were featured on Kate Spade New York‘s facebook page yesterday. I just love them and love Kate Spade.

I mean with a name like “Get,” who in their right mind wouldn’t want to GET them. Ha ha… I’m so funny…

I know my jokes may not be that funny, but I am not joking when I say that I might sell my first born to have these.

Circus, Circus!

January 9th, 2012

While we do mostly weddings here at the Mansion, we do hold the occasional birthday party or cocktail party. This event was awesome! Stephanie had so many amazing ideas for how she wanted her birthday party to look. She wanted a vintage circus theme and that is exactly what she got. I think the photos can speak for themselves. Sorry if there is a photo overload, but I just couldn’t choose between which details to show you! Oh and if some of them are blurry, you just keep your little mouths shut. I took most of them myself. I am a wedding planner, not a photographer.

Friday Finds 1.6.12

January 6th, 2012

Whoa. That was weird. Typing the date… Anywho…

I found this adorable dress online from Lea-Ann Belter Bridal. With the new gown trend leaning toward sleeves after the Royal Wedding, I think this is the most adorable dress for a spring wedding!

And if you don’t like this one, there are a ton more that are super duper cute! Like this one…

Go ahead. Check out the website. I know you’ll love it!

Must-Haves: Pottery Barn

January 5th, 2012

I started thinking about registries the other day. Many of you know that I did not need a lot of anything for my house. We already lived together for awhile before getting married and I have had my own apartment for almost 7 years before that. By now, I have accumulated most of what I need in my home. Along with a lot of things I don’t need. I have no idea how I fit all my things into my apartment.¬†Anyway, it got me thinking how much fun it would have been to start from complete scratch. Since I have to live vicariously through you now, I figured I can at least share what I have found with you here! So I am going to feature different stores or online shops with a few posts.

First up, Pottery Barn.

Pottery Barn has a very distinct style. They focus on time-honored designs, yet have a very hip and stylish vibe. They remind me of beach houses in Cape Cod. Calm. Rustic. Simple yet elegant. So here are a few of my favorite items from the Pottery Barn website. If you like it, just click on the photo and you can go directly to the site.

A little something for the hubby too…
