I am always hearing from brides and grooms that they have been to so many weddings that are the same. The same old ballroom with the same old ivory linens and the same old centerpieces. After a while, they all just start to run together and it is hard to remember whose was whose. I always make the same suggestion to the brides and grooms who are looking for a little something different, but don’t know where to start. Start with yourselves. What do you have in common? What is one of your favorite things to do together? After all, it isn’t just the bride’s day. It does have a little something to do with the groom too.
This post is for the travelers of the world. There are some couples who just love to travel together. Maybe they met while studying abroad. Maybe they met while on spring break in college. Maybe they met while on vacation and now live across the country from one another – at least until the wedding comes! Either way, travel is a huge part of their life. Why not embrace that and celebrate it as part of the biggest day of their lives? I decided to show you how this theme can be cute and not kitschy.
