Wow! There are a lot of babies up in here! Two Mansion couples have welcomed little bundles of joy into the world.

Shawn & Sindu Keefer welcomed a baby girl, Sahira, into the world on Sunday, October 14, 2012.

I don’t know if I have ever seen a baby with THAT much hair!!! So sweet :)

Chris & Debbie Tator also had a baby girl, Emily, on Friday, October 19, 2012.

Friday Finds 10.26.12

October 26th, 2012

I came across the cutest shop online, Ruche. Maybe you’ve heard of it, but if you haven’t you’ll definitely want to, like now. They have everything from dresses and accessories to children’s clothes and home and office. I just ordered this adorable dress right before it went out of stock.

They do still have it in ivory and black in case you love it as much as me!

Oh and did I forget to mention that they have a bridal line too? Oh, because they do. This is one of my favorite gowns. I LOVE the shimmer!!

I literally spent about 3 days on this website just checking out all the different items. With so much to choose from, I’m not sure how you’ll choose. If I were you, I’d spend the afternoon filling your wish list.  Have fun!

Real Wedding: Shannon & Jesse

October 25th, 2012

You know how I said I get really attached to some brides. Shannon is one of them. We talked just about every week. We were wedding BFFs. It doesn’t hurt that her groom, Jesse, was pretty awesome too. Throw in their little girl, Sophia, and they are quite the little family. She is the CUTEST little thing you ever did see!

I realized after looking through the pictures that there were barely any set up photos. They are all of people. Probably because they have some pretty great people surrounding them. From their parents to their bridal party to their grandparents and other friends, this group really tore this place up! It was easy to look past all the little details to all the dancing and laughter.

You can click on the photos to get a larger view, but don’t judge my blurry photos. I am not a professional photographer!!

I truly wish Shannon and Jesse the best in their marriage. They already have the perfect little family. Now their perfect family has become part of ours.

Bridal Bootcamp: Banana Muffins

October 22nd, 2012

I haven’t posted a healthy recipe in quite awhile. Since I just made the best muffins ever, I thought I’d share the recipe with you. Of course it is completely clean and they are delightfully, delicious as well! I got the recipe from my favorite site, The Gracious Pantry. If you haven’t been over there to check out and try out some of her amazing recipes, I definitely recommend that you do that ASAP. You will thank me.

So without further adieu, I give you the best banana muffins ever:

Clean Eating Banana Muffins
Makes 18 medium-sized muffins (or 12 large muffins)

Click on over to The Gracious Pantry for the Ingredients!

(And while you are over there, check out some of the other goodies too!)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 1 – Mix all ingredients in a large bowl using an electric mixer. Make sure all ingredients get really well blended together.

Step 2 – Pour the batter into the muffin tin or muffin papers. Fill only half way (I filled to the top to make larger muffins).

Step 3 – Sprinkle nuts of your choice over the top and place in oven (Optional).

Step 4 – Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through (I had to go with 27 minutes since I made larger ones).

Eat and Enjoy!

Friday Finds 10.19.12

October 19th, 2012

Back in action this week and it feels so good! I found this adorable alternative guest book on Pinterest and knew I had to share with you. I think this would be perfect for all those rustic weddings. This would be the perfect way to remember how you and all your guests were feeling the day of your wedding.

Besides, are you ever going to read through those signatures in a guest book? Probably not. Just warn your guests not to drop the stones in if you use a glass container. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones for a reason.

Real Wedding: Jamie & Wes

October 17th, 2012

Jamie and Wes came the whole way from Florida just to spend their wedding day with us. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I loved having them here. One of the other main reasons why I loved this couple so much was that they were completely relaxed and ready to enjoy their weekend. Their bridal party was ready to help them with that too. You could tell they just love to be together and really cared about making sure Wes and Jamie’s day was perfect.

We are so happy to have Jamie and Wes as part of the Mansion family. Come back and visit us again soon!!

Every girl needs a pair of red high heels. Seriously. If you don’t have a pair, you need to purchase some immediately. These ones wouldn’t be a bad addition to your collection. The two-toned/ombre color are perfect to make these adorable Michael Kors pumps completely versatile.

Just think about how many holiday parties you could wear these to?! I want…

I promise I still love you…

October 10th, 2012

As you have probably noticed, the posts have been kind of sparse lately. Yes, I know. My duty as a blogger has been pushed to the wayside. We’ve been extremely busy this summer. Not that I am complaining, I love what I do and I love my brides. Sometimes making sure their days are the most memorable and perfect days of their lives takes precedence over writing. And that will remain my focus for the next 6 weeks since we have one more stretch of weddings before we wrap up the 2012 season. Things have FINALLY started to slow down since we are almost fully booked for the 2013 wedding season. This is short lived because we are gearing up to start consultations and bookings for 2014 in the next few weeks. Before it really kicks in gear again, I am hoping that I can get caught up and get some of our past events up! I have a ton of great weddings to share with you from the 2012 season and can’t wait to have the time to sit and sort through the photos to make sure you are really getting the full experience. I’ve had so many great ideas for blogs, just no time to sit and write. And I am not the type to half-ass something, so you get left with nothing.

While I am notifying you of my hiatus for this week, my solemn vow to you is that I will get caught up in the coming weeks and stop neglecting you. In the meantime, I will leave you with this photo. I told you I had some good stuff!!
